Sultan Qaboos Cultural Center Research Fellowship Program

The Council of American Overseas Research Centers (CAORC) has a remarkable opportunity to promote advanced research in the Sultanate of Oman. The Sultan Qaboos Cultural Center (SQCC) has asked CAORC to initiate a fellowship program for American pre- and post-doctoral scholars to carry out research in Oman. Scholars in fields in the Humanities, Social Sciences, and allied Natural Sciences are encouraged to apply. One fellowship will be given for 2011-2012. This is the first time we have advertised broadly in an open competition for advanced research in Oman. CAORC and SQCC hope to expand the fellowship program in the future based on the results of the pilot fellowship.
